The Story
Ayudam means weapon. Daan means contributions. Together in our context it symbolizes - gifting our students with the "ammunition of resources" that will help them win the battle of sustaining education that they constantly have to fight!
Our organization is committed to supporting education by providing scholarships, mentorship, and resources to students from low-income backgrounds. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a brighter future for all. Through our partnerships with schools and community organizations, we work to ensure that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We work on our mission through our Chains of After School Learning Centers that is setup in the underserved community. Each of the Centers serve as an "Extended Home" providing the most safe and conducive learning space for students whom we prepare to eventually lead a movement of change in their communities. These centers are staffed with a local coordinator.
Each year 15-20 students join each of these center in Grade 8 and go on to receive a "long and deep rooted support" in the form of tuitions/scholarships/soft skilling/financial literacy/mental wellness and practically everything they will ever need till they complete their college.
Established in 2018, SOF today impacts over 350+ families/1200 dependents spread over 7 locations across Urban Bangalore with Rural parts of Kerala.
Our hope in that in next 3-5 years we would have flooded the under served communities with enough educated members and started a "movement" of change in each of these communities!
Where do YOU come in?
While most of our needs are met by in-kind giving by corporates, business establishments and good samaitans all around us, sometimes we do fall short of budgets to accomodate and sustain all these needs.
Thats where YOU can step in.
Anything you contribute adds to the pool and helps the center and its students. There are both one time and recurring expenses that we have in the centers. Every cent you contribute adds to the "fuel" we need to sustain this lifetime journey!

Where will your contributions be used?
For every Dollar or Rupee that you contribute , more than 95 cent/paisa will go directly for procuring our learning aid . 3-5 cents/paisa may be required for admin and legal compliance costs.
We value transparency and every purchase bill will be available in our website as well as individually shared as a report to all donors of this program
