About us
Shifting Orbits Foundation is an 80G/12AA/CSR-1/FCRA authorized Non profit organization set up in 2018 with the mission of uplifting underserved communities through its After School Learning Centers setup in both Urban and Rural locations.
After school space in education remains one of the most overlooked areas and unfortunately that's where an average child in India (especially in the under-served communities) spends 82% of their waking hours. It's also the space where most of the drift from the educational path occurs leading to a vicious cycle of poverty repeated generation after generation. (Only 17% of students land up finishing college). And all this happens in spite of several NGO and CSR efforts being spent on school and system level changes!.
Each of our center supports students from Grade 8 upward till their jobs by channelizing their after school hours into productive skill building time. Eventually we hope to create a movement led by these increased educated members who will then uplift their communities in the future.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a fulfilling life, and that through our efforts, we can make a real difference in the world.

How can you help us?
We have a comprehensive package created for Corporate Giving which can help you with both compliance needs - such as timely and accurate Fund Utilization Certificates (FUR/FUC), Impact Assessment Reports (IAR), Monthly cadence and Reporting , Risk Assessment Reports etc as well as employee engagement needs through a range of deep impact flexible volunteering opportunities.
We are also enlisted with Employer Giving Platforms such as Your Cause and Benevity.
Our CSR Sector coverage includes Companies Act 2013 Section 135 Schedule VII – (i), (ii) ,(iii) and (xi) and UNDP SDGs - 1,4,8 and 10
